The Miss America Opportunity is a scholarship organization inspiring the next generation of female leaders. The five pillars that the organization stands upon are; style, service, scholarship, success, and sisterhood. Miss America's Teen is open to contestants ages 13-18 and has provided over $1.5 million and counting to women from all across the country. The phases of competition and score break down are as followed:
- 30% Private Interview
- 20% Fitness
- 20% Talent
- 20% Evening Wear
- 10% On Stage Question
To get started in the Miss America Opportunity contestants are asked to submit a Fact Sheet and a one page community service essay that highlights the work they have done for the Community Service Initiative (CSI). Following the submission of a candidate's fact sheet, CSI essay, and local agreement, one is eligible to compete in a local preliminary competition.
