As a Teen Advisory Board member, I play an active role in our monthly meetings focused on discussing and creating projects to give back to our local community. During my time as a Teen Advisory Board member I have led and participated in various community projects, including our Spring Food Bags, Thanksgiving Food Drive, Road Cleanups, preparing Birthday Kits for children in local group foster homes and so many more.
One of my favorite community projects I’ve participated in with Kids Helping Kids was our annual Back to School Drive, which I hosted for the first time in Dade City. Our efforts expanded across 3 locations throughout Pasco County, where we successfully provided over 100 children with backpacks filled with essential school supplies. What is Kids Helping Kids?Kids Helping Kids Pasco is a 501(c)(3) organization that encourages kids to create change in their community - one small act at a time.
